Description
Diclogel ® is a medicine with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties in the form of a white, delicate gel, intended for local application on the skin. It is useful for mild to moderate muscle pain and post-traumatic pain, especially after an injury.
What does Diclogel ® gel 10 mg/g, 100 g contain and how does it work?
The active substance of Diclogel ® analgesic gel is sodium diclofenac, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Diclofenac, a derivative of phenylacetic acid, inhibits cyclooxygenase activity and then inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators. This substance has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects and is indicated in the treatment of:
- mild to moderate muscle pain,
- injury,
- post-traumatic pain.
Diclogel® analgesic gel with diclofenac is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age . The large tube contains 100 g of non-prescription gel.
