Description
Diosminex is a medicine containing micronized diosmin. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of this active substance. Diosmin increases the tension of the venous vessels and protects the blood vessels by reducing their permeability and reducing their susceptibility to rupture.
The indication for the use of Diosminex is the treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency in adults, such as heaviness in the legs, leg pain, nocturnal leg cramps, coldness in the legs, varicose veins of the lower limbs, spider veins and reticulation and venous ulcers. It is also effective in the case of swelling of the lower limbs, the sensation of itching and tingling of the skin of the lower limbs, redness or bruising of the skin. The preparation can also be used for symptomatic treatment in case of intensification of symptoms related to hemorrhoids in adults.
