For closing the bottle during the transport or storage of breast or infant milk.
Warnings for your child's safety and health: The product should only be used under adult supervision. Never use a pacifier/mouthpiece to soothe a baby. Continuous and long-term sucking of liquids can cause tooth decay. Always check the temperature of the liquid before feeding. Do not use the microwave oven to heat the bottle, there is a risk of uneven heating (with cold and hot parts) when heating food. Test the strength of the pacifier by pulling the end in all directions. Replace the teat immediately if it shows signs of wear. Do not leave pacifiers in direct sunlight when not in use. Wash all parts before use. All Dr. Brown's bottle accessories are dishwasher safe - use the top. Do not let the child fall asleep with the bottle in bed or drink for too long. If you leave a bottle for a baby outside of the regular feeding and longer than necessary for feeding, or if the baby falls asleep with a bottle (with a different water content), this can cause or contribute to the development of early tooth decay.
