Main product description
Clinically proven to reduce colic, belching, vomiting and bloating. Designed to grow with your child. Our bottle works with a unique ventilation system: - Clinically proven to reduce the occurrence of colic - Helps preserve vitamins - Contributes to better digestion and thus better sleep - Flow supports breastfeeding.
It's great to have an alternative when baby gets more experienced: remove the inner valve - baby can continue to drink from his familiar bottle and feeding mimics drinking from regular bottles without a valve.
With the Dr.Brown starter set, make the transition from bottle to cup easier: Take your baby's favorite bottle and simply replace the teat in it with a soft mouthpiece. It's the first step to drinking from a sippy cup. Remove the inner valve and replace the teat with a mouthpiece.
Use Before first use: Always handle the bottle with clean hands and on a clean surface. Wash all parts before use. Before first use, it is recommended to sterilize the pacifier/silicone mouthpiece by immersing it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Make sure the pacifier/mouthpiece opening is clean. Leave to cool, squeeze out the water trapped in the teat. Wash normally in hot water using detergent, rinse well, allow to dry properly. When using the dishwasher, place the teat on top.
Before each use: Test the strength of the pacifier/mouthpiece by pulling the end in all directions. Replace the teat immediately if it shows signs of wear, e.g. cracks or changes in shape, especially if the baby is teething. Small parts can be inhaled and cause serious injury. Wash before each use. The pacifier/mouthpiece must be clean and accessible.
Cleaning: Dr.Brown bottles contain a two-part internal flow valve that significantly reduces the occurrence of abdominal pain, vomiting, belching and bloating. You can conveniently clean the internal valve with the wire brush included in the package. With it, you can easily reach all the openings of the insert and magazine. Before cleaning the glass, be sure to remove the cleaning brush from the glass. Always handle with clean hands and on a clean surface. Place all parts of the bottle. Wash all parts in hot water using detergent. Rinse thoroughly and check that the pacifier/mouthpiece opening is clean and accessible. Do not use a wire cleaning brush on the pacifier/mouthpiece as you may damage it. All parts, including the internal valve, are dishwasher safe (when placed on top), electric sterilizer, microwave oven and cooking sterilization.
Sterilizing pacifier/pacifier bottles: You can sterilize accessories and baby bottles by boiling, immersing in chemical solutions, or using an electric or microwave sterilizer. Use chemical/sterilizing solutions and sterilizers exactly according to directions for use. We recommend using a Dr.Browns® electric or microwave sterilizer for sterilization.
• Take care not to risk burns when using the sterilizing unit or boiling the accessories.• Keep all parts not in use out of the reach of children.• Handle sterilized bottles, teats/mouths and accessories with clean hands. Avoid unnecessary handling of sterilized objects and devices. Before cleaning, remove the wire brush for cleaning, do not sterilize it.
The package contains: 1 250 ml baby bottle, 1 Level-3 silicone pacifier, 1 mouth piece, 1 cleaning brush, instructions for use
Warning The bottle can only be used under the supervision of an adult. Pacifiers and pacifiers are not intended for soothing. Continued and prolonged sucking of liquid can lead to cavities. Give it to the child if the pacifier/mouthpiece is not worn and replace it if it is damaged.
Due to the risk of uneven heating and overheating, it is not recommended to use a microwave oven to heat the liquid in the mug. The bottle parts are not meant to be played with or sucked on.
Keep in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not leave the product in the disinfectant (sterilizing solution) longer than recommended as this may damage the teat/mouthpiece. During use, change the pacifier/mouthpiece approximately every 6 weeks. Do not allow the baby to walk or run while using the bottle.
Warning: Stop feeding before baby completely empties the pacifier/mouthpiece to prevent him from swallowing air, which can cause colic or other digestive problems. If the child does not eat, remove the bottle from the mouth. Do not let the baby fall asleep with the bottle or feed for a long time. Prolonged contact with milk, infant formulas or other liquids can lead to tooth decay. If you leave a bottle for a baby outside of the regular feeding and longer than necessary for feeding, or if the baby falls asleep with a bottle (with a different water content), this can cause or contribute to the development of early tooth decay. If you have feeding difficulties or questions, contact your pediatrician.
