Efferalgan effervescent tablets - an analgesic and antipyretic drug
Each Efferalgan effervescent tablet contains 500 mg of active substance - paracetamol ( Paracetamolum ). The drug reduces the elevated body temperature, but does not affect the normal temperature. Importantly, paracetamol irritates the gastric mucosa to a lesser extent than salicylates.
The indication for the use of the drug with paracetamol 500 mg Efferalgan (16 effervescent tablets) is pain of various origins, including:
- headaches,
- toothache,
- joint and muscle pain,
- dysmenorrhea,
- neuralgia and others.
Efferalgan paracetamol tablets are also useful in the treatment of symptomatic flu-like conditions, colds and fevers. When dissolved in water, the effervescent tablets form a drinking solution that facilitates administration.
