Fiprex Cat 3 pipettes - External antiparasitic with fipronil , effective spot-on solution for flea and tick infestations in cats.

Composition - One 0.7 ml pipette contains:

• Active ingredient: fipronil 52.5 mg / pipette
• Excipients: Butylated hydroxytoluene (E320) 2.1 mg, Butylated hydroxyanisole (E321) 2.1 mg

Directions

In cats for the treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.), ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes scapularis, Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticularis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Amblyomma americanum), blood-sucking lice (Linognatus spp.) and mange lice (Trichodectes spp.). The product has an immediate lethal effect against fleas; ticks die within 24-48 hours. The product provides protection against repeated tick reinfestation in cats for one month.

Fiprex can be used as an adjunct in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to phenylpyrazole compounds.

• Do not use in sick animals or during convalescence.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

• Rarely, effects such as fur discoloration, local hair loss, congestion, itching, oily appearance or matted hair may occur.

• If the animal licks the area where the preparation was applied, symptoms such as hypersalivation, vomiting and nervous symptoms (hypersensitivity, defecation) may occur. Adverse effects usually decrease in intensity after 24 hours.

• If you experience any adverse effects after using the product or notice any other symptoms not mentioned in this leaflet (including symptoms occurring in humans after contact with the medicinal product), seek advice from your veterinarian or the marketing authorisation holder (through the distributor in Romania) immediately.

• If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your veterinary surgeon.

DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

The preparation is intended for external use and is applied directly to the animal's skin in the neck area or dorsally in the shoulder blade area.

One pipette of 0.7 ml / cat.

Open the pipette by removing the cap. Make a slit in the fur at the shoulder blade area and apply the tip of the pipette directly to the skin surface, then press to release the contents.

RECOMMENDATIONS ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION

• Do not wash animals 2 days before and 2 days after applying the preparation.

• Protect the animal's eyes from direct contact with the product.

• Do not allow animals to lick their fur after applying the product.

• All cats in the household will be treated simultaneously.

• Animals with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation should not be treated.

• Wear rubber gloves when handling the product.

• Do not consume food, liquids or smoke while applying the product.

• Wash your hands after application.

• Ventilate the room where the product was handled.

• Do not touch the animals until the preparation is completely dry.
