Fluimucil is indicated in the treatment of all respiratory diseases which, following an excessive production of mucus and subsequent solidification, lead to the formation of dense secretions that are eliminated by weight or space.

Administration | In the case of acute diseases, the dosage is as follows: Children up to 2 years: 3 times a day, 1/2 packet of 100 mg; Children from 2 to 12 years: 3 times a day, 1 packet of 100 mg; Children after the age of 12; Adults: 600 mg per day, in a single dose (preferably in the evening) or several doses (e.g. 200 mg 3 times a day). Long-term treatment: 400 mg per day, in 2 doses, the duration of treatment being limited to no more than 3-6 months. Cystic fibrosis: Identical dosage, with the exception of children over 6 years of age who will be given 1 package, i.e. one 200 mg tablet three times a day or one 600 mg effervescent tablet once a day. The duration of the treatment will be determined by the doctor. |
