Indications:
Hepa-Merz granulate belongs to the group: liver therapy. Hepa-Merz granulate stimulates ammonia detoxification by increasing urea synthesis in the urea cycle. It helps in the extrahepatic detoxification of ammonia from tissues.
Hepa Merz granulated is used in the treatment of latent or manifest hepatic encephalopathy in diseases with insufficient hepatic detoxification activity (e.g. in liver cirrhosis) and their complications.

Composition:
- The active substance is L-ornithine-L-aspartate.

Method of administration:
The contents of 1 - 2 sachets of Hepa-Merz granulated will be dissolved in a sufficient amount of liquid (e.g. a glass of water, tea or juice) and the resulting solution will be administered orally up to 3 times/day.

Contraindications:
Do not use Hepa-Merz granulated:
- if you are allergic to silymarin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;

Precautions:
Before using Hepa-Merz granulated, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Task:
The safety of Hepa-Merz granulate during pregnancy has not been established. If you are pregnant, you should only take Hepa-Merz granulate if it has been prescribed by your doctor.
Lactation:
It is not known whether the active substance contained in Hepa-Merz granules passes into breast milk.
If you are breastfeeding, you will only take Hepa-Merz granulated if it has been prescribed by your doctor.

Driving and using machines:
Due to the underlying condition, the ability to drive and operate machinery may be impaired during treatment with L-ornithine-L-aspartate.

Presentation:
30 envelopes
