The symptoms that appear in benign prostatic hypertrophy are: nocturia (nocturnal urination), pollakiuria (frequent urination, reduced in quantity), dysuria (difficulty urinating), urge to urinate, prolonged urination, etc. Complications of prostate adenoma are urinary obstruction, urinary incontinence and bacterial superinfections.
