Chasteberry is a plant that belongs to the Verbenaceae family. In the wild, it occurs mainly in the Mediterranean Sea and Central Asia. In the past, it was often used in monasteries, which is why it probably got the nickname "monks". Currently, it is used primarily in the treatment of hormonal disorders.

Chasteberry is primarily useful in therapy and in conditions resulting from abnormal levels of prolactin and sex hormones. Chasteberry relieves breast pain caused by increased prolactin levels.
