Omega 3 fatty acids – DHA and EPA:

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of good brain function and normal vision (the beneficial effect is obtained when consuming 250 mg of DHA per day).
DHA and EPA acids contribute to the proper functioning of the heart (the beneficial effect occurs with a total intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day).
DHA consumed by a woman during pregnancy and lactation supports the proper development of the brain and eyes of the fetus and breastfed infants (the beneficial effect occurs when 200 mg of DHA per day is consumed above the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)).
