Description
Manuka honey is a homogeneous honey, most of which is made from the nectar of the species Leptospermum scoparium (manuka bush) found in several regions of New Zealand. Its taste is described as slightly bitter and mineral. It has an adequate range of specific conductivity and a strong aromatic odor with notes of moist earth and warmth. It contains pollen typical of manuka bushes and a high content of a natural substance - methylglyoxal (MGO™), which is responsible for the unique properties of manuka honey and distinguishes it from other honeys available on the market.
MGO™ 250+ Manuka Health Nectar Honey contains methylglyoxal in amounts exceeding 250 mg/kg. A 1000g packet provides approximately 67 daily servings, each consisting of 3 teaspoons, and should last for approximately 2 months of use.
