• Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a plant in the Asteraceae family that occurs wild in meadows. It is characterized by spiny stems and leaves and beautiful purple flowers. Especially widespread in the Mediterranean region, where it grows on dry, rocky soil, along roads and in pastures. A complex of substances is obtained from the fruit of the plant, which is called silymarin after the Latin name of milk thistle.
• Zinc is a component of many enzymes and has a valuable contribution, among other things, to the correct metabolism of fats, fatty acids, carbohydrates and proteins.

Each capsule contains 200 mg of milk thistle fruit extract, including 160 mg of silymarin.
