The Medela Swing Maxi™ NEW is a compact and easy-to-use electric breast pump for two breasts with an integrated rechargeable battery. By pumping from both breasts at the same time, you can pump up to 18% more breast milk than pumping from each breast separately.

Like its predecessor Swing Maxi Flex™ , the new Swing Maxi™ pump is an electric two-breast pump, with which you can pump from both breasts at the same time, that is twice as fast as when you pump from each breast separately. Additionally, pumping from both breasts at the same time has been shown to produce up to 18% more breast milk.

Vacuum anywhere, even if there is no electrical outlet nearby

Thanks to the latest generation USB-C port, the built-in battery can be charged faster than the classic micro-USB port, and you can vacuum up to six times when fully charged! ​

PersonalFit Flex™ breast accessory

Thanks to the 105° opening angle, soft edge and oval shape for a better fit, the PersonalFit Flex™ nipple puts less pressure on the milk ducts than traditional 90° nipples. It allows a more efficient and comfortable suction. More comfort for you and up to 11% more milk for your baby - clinically proven. In the package you will find breast extensions in two sizes: 21 mm (size S) and 24 mm (size M).

Intuitive and simple control

The Swing Maxi™ has nine levels of vacuum intensity that you can select and control with four easy-to-use buttons. Assembly and cleaning of the Swing Maxi™ Double Electric Breast Pump, which consists of only a few parts, is now simple!

2-Phase Expression™ technology

When nursing, babies first suck in short, quick strokes to get the milk flowing. As soon as the milk starts to flow, the baby adjusts his sucking to a slower individual rhythm to drink. Medela 2-Phase Expression ™ technology (2-phase suction technology) mimics the natural rhythms of the baby's sucking - first it stimulates the flow of milk quickly and then it slows down and goes into a deeper and slower suction to ensure an optimal flow of milk .

Shorter stimulation phase

Studies using biphasic technology have found that the first letdown is between 1 and 2 minutes, which is longer than a young baby achieves when breastfeeding. However, under research conditions, this time is longer than in a relaxed home environment. At the same time, the first drop of milk usually accelerates with repeated pumping (probably due to the adjustment of the let-down reflex). Time to first letdown has been proven to be faster with the new 105° breast attachment, with 90% of mothers expressing milk within 2 minutes.

The duration of the stimulation phase of the Swing Maxi™ NEW has been reduced to one minute at:

• better reflect the physiology of breast pumping
• reduced the risk of milk not being optimally expressed during the first milk start
