Therapeutic indications:

Lactic calcium is easily assimilated, contributing essentially to the formation of a strong and healthy bone system.

In the case of children, its administration is indicated for periods of growth and adolescence. It is also indicated in the treatment of calcium deficiency: hypocalcemia and/or hemorrhagic conditions, hemophilia, rickets, TB, allergic conditions (asthma, hives, psoriasis, eczema, skin itching), hyperthyroidism, diabetes.
Prophylactic treatment of calcium deficiency when the need for calcium is increased (growing period, pregnancy, breastfeeding). Adjuvant treatment of age-related osteoporosis, postmenopause, determined by corticotherapy, after prolonged immobilization; other situations caused by bone demineralization or involving bone demineralization.

Mode of action:
It acts by regulating the phosphocalcium metabolism, restoring the deficiency in the body.

Lactic calcium is a crystalline white salt due to the action of lactic acid on calcium carbonate; preserves all the properties of the Calcium ion and the indications for its administration under the conditions of a higher degree of absorption.

Ingredients:

Calcium lactate pentahydrate 500 mg (equivalent to 65 mg Calcium) representing 6.5% of the recommended daily dose and excipients.

Administration method:
2-3 tablets 3-4 times a day, after main meals, crushed beforehand.
Adults: the recommended dose is 1000 - 1500 mg calcium (15 - 23 Lactic Calcium tablets) per day.
Children aged between 6 and 10 years: the recommended dose is 750 mg - 800 mg calcium (12-13 Lactic Calcium tablets) per day;
Children aged between 10 and 18 years: the recommended dose is 800 mg - 1200 mg calcium (13 - 18 Lactic Calcium tablets) per day.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
Hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, tissue calcifications (nephrocalcinosis), calcium lithiasis.
Prolonged immobilization accompanied by hypercalciuria and/or hypercalcemia (calcium treatment must be administered when mobility is resumed).
Thrombosis and atherosclerosis.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
The medicine can be administered during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The daily dose should not exceed 1500 mg of calcium (23 tablets).
Overdose Manifestations: feeling of thirst, polyuria, polydipsia, nausea, vomiting, dehydration, hypertension, vasomotor disorders, constipation. In newborns and infants, the stagnation of weight growth precedes all the signs. As treatment re-
orders the cessation of calcium and vitamin D intake, rehydration and, depending on the severity of the intoxication, the isolated or combined use of diuretics, corticosteroids, calcitonin and peritoneal dialysis.

nervous influx, regulating the permeability of cell membranes, in metabolic processes by stimulating the enzymatic equipment, in infectious processes.
Lactic calcium ensures one of the highest levels of calcium absorption in the body. Thus, lactic calcium contributes to the formation and maintenance of a resistant bone system in both children and adults. Lactic calcium can be absorbed at different pH levels and does not need to be taken with food for better absorption.
