Description
The child's breathing monitor is a medical device intended for use both by qualified personnel in medical institutions and by parents at home. The device monitors the child's breathing during sleep and its purpose is to signal abnormalities in the child's breathing early enough. If the device detects a decrease in the breathing rate, the device warns the parents with a visual signal and a loud acoustic signal. This is to avoid the danger of respiratory arrest, which can occur in small children (sudden death syndrome - SIDS).
