Description
Naturell Omega-3 is a dietary supplement that is a rich source of omega-3 acids, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The preparation uses fish oil standardized to contain 35% omega-3, enclosed in small, easy-to-use capsules with a gelatin shell. Each capsule contains 500 mg of marine fish oil.
Properties of unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids
Omega-3 fatty acids are not synthesized in the human body, but are supplied with food. Fats from fish, especially saltwater fish, can be a particularly valuable source in your daily diet. They are found in fish oil.
The fatty acids DHA and EPA consumed in a daily amount of 250 mg play a role in the proper functioning of the heart. At the same time, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) supports the correct functioning of the brain and the maintenance of correct vision (when 250 mg of DHA is consumed per day).
Dietary supplementation with omega-3 fatty acids is also important for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Maternal intake of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) supports proper eye and brain development in fetuses and breastfed infants. The beneficial effect occurs when 200 mg of DHA per day is consumed above the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
Food supplement Omega-3 500 mg Naturell is suitable for daily use as a supplement to the diet of adults with DHA and EPA acids of natural origin. A package of 120 capsules allows a supplement of more than 2 months for one person.
