What is coenzyme Q10?
Ubiquinone, the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10, is a compound that occurs naturally in all cells of the body. This organic chemical compound from the quinone group is one of the important components of the respiratory chain. The highest concentration of CoQ10 is found in cardiac muscle cells.
The OstroVit ® brand preparation uses coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinone (ubidecarenone), preferred by the human body. The formula does not contain ingredients of animal origin, so it is also suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets. The recommended daily dose is just 1 high CoQ10 capsule, and a 100-pack will provide over 3 months of daily supplementation.
