Description
Posterisan 387.1 mg is a medicine in the form of suppositories for rectal use. It contains the active substance - a standardized suspension of Escherichia Coli bacterial culture. These bacteria are killed and preserved with phenol. In addition to intact bacterial cells, the suspension also consists of cellular degradation products and metabolic products. It does not contain living cells. After rectal administration, it is rapidly absorbed.
Posterisan suppositories are used in case of annoying itching, burning and discharge in the anal area caused by hemorrhoids (varicose veins of the anus, hemorrhoids). This medicine stimulates the body's immune system and supports its natural defense response to infections. Due to this, it helps to relieve itching and burns. It can also be used for fissures (painful fissures) and fistulas in the anal canal. It is suitable for continuous use and can be administered for a long period of time.
