Why poppy seeds and almonds?

If you want to prepare something festive and sweet in our territory, poppy seeds are the right ingredient. That's why we decided to use the popular blue cereal and evoke something more from it. I combined premium poppy seeds with lightly toasted almonds, added cane sugar and topped it all off with a pinch of sea salt. How do you describe the resulting taste? Imagine a Christmas cake with poppy seeds and walnuts... without the dough! It's like eating Christmas pie with a spoon.

Probably the first poppy-nut cream in Slovakia, in addition to its fabulous taste, it also has nutritional benefits. As is our custom, they are based on a carefully selected combination of premium ingredients.

How will the poppy-almond cream cheer me up?

First, let's repeat the benefits of poppy seeds. Thanks to the high amount of fiber (up to 23 g per 100 g), it improves your digestion and makes you feel full faster. It is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and promotes the use of fat-soluble vitamins . Each serving contains a significant amount of vitamin E and several minerals (copper, zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium). Poppy consumption is therefore a prevention of osteoporosis, improves memory or nails and hair.

Almonds are not far away. They increase the total amount of fiber and vitamin E in the cream and give it a typical frying taste. Our standard is that nut creams contain less sugar than usual. Do you know what a poppy seed cake would taste like with 15% sugar? We don't. But this amount of sugar is perfectly sufficient for this cream.
