Respisun hypertonic saline solution 3%, 24 single doses, Sun Wave Pharma

Hypertonic saline solution 3%, without preservatives.

Indications:

• Increases the mobilization of secretions in the lower respiratory tract by osmotic effect, for example in bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, etc.
• Prevents drying of the bronchial mucosa
• RespiSun, hypertonic saline solution 3% for inhalation, can be used using compressor or ultrasonic nebulizers.

Composition:

Sodium chloride – 3 g, purified water qs ad 100 ml.

How to use:

• The recommended dose of RespiSun is 1 ampoule 2 to 4 times a day
• Detach the single dose and open by twisting the upper part
• Pour the inhalation solution into the nebulizer
• Use the nebulizer according to the instructions provided by its manufacturer.

Precautions:

• For single use
• Strictly intended for inhalation
• Do not use for injection
• Check the integrity of the single-dose vials before use
• Do not use the vials if they are damaged
• Follow the instructions for use of the nebulizer
• If there is a tendency to develop dyspnea or hypersensitivity, inhalation of the solution will not be carried out without medical supervision
• Do not mix with medications
• Do not leave within the reach of children
• Do not use after the expiration date
• After opening, the single-dose vials will be used immediately and any solution remaining will be discarded; since the product does not contain preservatives, there is a risk of administering a contaminated solution if it is reused after opening.

Hypertonic saline solution 3% for inhalation is a Class IIa medical device.

Adverse reactions:

• In rare cases, temporary irritation (e.g. cough) or reversible constriction of the bronchi may occur
• It is recommended to administer bronchodilator medication beforehand
• If adverse effects occur, discontinue treatment and seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
