The device is suitable for measuring children aged between 3 and 12 years. The special technology used in the blood pressure monitor uses an innovative split cuff system (Duo Control Cuff Technology, DCC). The two air chambers in the cuff are filled with separate tubes. The upper one presses on the arm, and the lower one acts as a stethoscope to detect pulse waves, due to which the pressure is measured between heartbeats.
