SmectaGo, 12 bags

SmectaGo is a medical device in the form of a suspension in a bag intended for direct use.

Product features:

for the treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 8 years of age. Treatment of acute diarrhea in children should be combined with the administration of an oral rehydration solution to prevent dehydration (loss of fluids)
for the treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults .
binds toxic substances and germs and helps their excretion from the body
protects the digestive tract and helps strengthen the intestinal mucosa and restore intestinal damage with its natural coating properties

Dosage and method of use:

This medical device is administered orally (by mouth) and is intended for direct use. The contents of the bag (suspension) can be swallowed directly. Fold the bag slightly before opening it. Each bag should be used only once after opening.

Treatment of acute diarrhea:

Children (8 to 15 years inclusive): 2 sachets at the start of treatment, then 1 sachet after each loose stool, max. 4 bags a day
Adults and children over 15 years: 2 sachets at the beginning of treatment, then 1 sachet after each loose stool, max. 6 bags a day

You can use SmectaGo for up to 3 days . If diarrhea lasts more than 3 days, see a doctor

Treatment of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in adults:

Adults: Max 3 bags per day (1 in the morning, 1 at lunch, 1 in the evening) as needed.

You can use SmectaGo without consulting a doctor for a maximum of 2 weeks . Long-term or repeated use is not recommended.

Notice:

Do not take SmectaGo:

if you are allergic to diosmectite or any other ingredient of the medicine
in case of acute diarrhea in children under 8 years old
in case of chronic diarrhea or abdominal pain in children

Do not try to treat the symptoms yourself and consult a doctor immediately:

if diarrhea is accompanied by high temperature, chills or repeated vomiting
if you have symptoms of dehydration (feel very thirsty, have a dry tongue, are tired or have a persistent loss of appetite)
if your stool contains blood or mucus
if diarrhea is accompanied by sudden weight loss
if diarrhea occurs during or after antibiotic treatment
if you suffer from an immune system disorder or receive treatment that suppresses your immune system (immunosuppressive treatment or cancer treatment)

Do not continue treatment and consult a doctor immediately:

if symptoms persist or worsen after the recommended treatment period
if the diarrhea comes back repeatedly or if it alternates between diarrhea and constipation

The active substance in SmectaGo is diosmectite 3 in a bag
Other ingredients are: caramel-cocoa flavor*, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, hydrochloric acid, potassium sorbate, sucralose, purified water

*Caramel-cocoa flavor composition: mixture of natural and synthetic flavors, caramel color E150d, caramelized sugar syrup, propylene glycol-E1520, water, ethanol, caffeine
