Description
Soyfem 100 mg film-coated tablets is an OTC drug (released without medical prescription), whose active substance is soy extract, rich in isoflavones (genistein, daidzein) and soy proteins. Each tablet contains 100 mg of valuable active ingredient, which corresponds to 26 mg of isoflavone complex, expressed as genistein. There is a special line carved into the center of the tablet to help it be split for easier swallowing.
Soyfem 100 mg film-coated tablets were developed for women during menopause. When taken orally, they help reduce the intensity of menopausal symptoms. They alleviate, among other things: hot flashes, excessive sweating, feelings of nervous tension and anxiety, and sleep problems. Their mechanism of action is based on the assumption that soy isoflavones (including genistein and daidzein) have the ability to bind to estrogen receptors.
Soyfem 100 mg can be used for a maximum of 2 years. However, if after 3 months of treatment there is no improvement or worsening, you should consult your doctor for advice.
