Trachisan - lozenges are part of the group: products for the oropharyngeal area.

Antiseptic.

The medicine can be used for:

• Inflammations and infections of the oral cavity and pharynx (inflammation of the oral mucosa, inflammation of the gums and tonsillitis)
• Infections of the upper respiratory tract, sore throat, difficulty swallowing.
• Priority, before surgical interventions in the oral cavity and pharynx (surgical removal of the tonsils, tooth extractions).

Composition:

• The active substances are: tyrothricin 0.5 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride 1.0 mg and chlorhexidine digluconate 1.0 mg
• The other ingredients are: sorbitol, magnesium stearate (vegetable), peppermint oil.

How to use:

• Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
• The recommended dose is up to 8 lozenges per day for adults and adolescents and up to 6 lozenges per day for children aged 4 to 12 years
• Allow one lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every two hours
• The symptoms usually disappear after a few days. However, to ensure therapeutic success, Trachisan suppository tablets should be taken for another 2-3 days after the symptoms have disappeared
• If after 10 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you should consult a doctor
• Administration to children under 4 years of age is contraindicated

Contraindications:

Do not use Trachisan if you are allergic to tyrothricin, lidocaine hydrochloride and chlorhexidine digluconate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
