Description
Ultrapiryna Fast C is a medicine in the form of white, round, effervescent tablets intended for oral use (after dissolution in water). Contains two active substances:
- acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg),
- ascorbic acid (250 mg).
Acetylsalicylic acid has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) has a positive effect on the functioning of cells of the immune system and on the body's protection against oxygen free radicals, which influence the course of the inflammatory process. Fortification of acetylsalicylic acid with vitamin C may result in better tolerability of the combined preparation compared to acetylsalicylic acid alone.
Ultrapiryna Fast C is used for the symptomatic treatment of low and/or moderate pain, as well as pain and fever during colds and flu.
The preparation is intended for adults. It can be used in adolescents over 12 years of age only on the recommendation of a doctor.
