It is recommended to carry out a Vitam pregnancy plate test at the earliest on the first day after the expected period.

To perform the test, all you need is a morning urine sample collected in a clean, dry container. The test pack contains a pregnancy test plate and a pipette to collect 3 drops of urine and place the plates in the test window.

We get the result after 3-5 minutes. After 10 minutes the result is invalid.

Two lines appearing in the control zone C and the test zone T indicate a positive result, which confirms the pregnancy. If a single band appears on the test in control area C, the result is negative and means there is no pregnancy. The complete absence of streaks or the appearance of a streak in the T test area indicates an error and such a result is considered invalid. If the result turns out to be invalid, the test must be repeated using a new pregnancy test.

What factors can influence the test result?
If you perform the test according to the instructions for use, the test result should be correct. However, certain drugs containing the hormone HCG and extremely rare diseases can falsify the test result. Drinking alcohol, taking birth control pills, pain relievers or antibiotics does not affect the test result.
