Description
Toothpaste Roots Charcoal is a toothpaste with activated charcoal for perfect oral hygiene. It contains only a small amount of abrasive substances and is therefore gentle on tooth enamel. It guarantees an extremely fresh sensation even long after brushing your teeth. Aloe vera extract helps fight gingivitis, bleeding and recurrent canker sores. The menthol component has excellent antibacterial properties. Allantoin has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.

Why no fluoride?
Most toothpastes contain sodium fluoride. However, there is a risk that the user will swallow the toothpaste, and fluoride toxicity can be adversely affected by chronic "consumption". In clinical studies, the graft polymer has been shown to have remineralization effects similar to fluoride in appropriate concentrations. However, the toxicity of the grafted polymer is very low. Swallowing the toothpaste thus presents a small risk of poisoning.
SLS
(Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) is a very foamy substance which, according to the latest findings, is involved in many allergies, canker sores and other health problems. Toothpastes containing SLS quickly induce the sensation of well-cleaned teeth, thus reducing the actual time required for oral hygiene. Another disadvantage of SLS in toothpaste is that it disables the effect of chlorhexidine (CHX) in mouthwash, which serves as a preventive and supportive treatment for periodontal disease and other oral diseases. Parabens are chemicals that are not the body's own and can cause allergic reactions.
