PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS: Hyaluronic acid is generally recognized as the main molecular component of the extracellular mass. In the respiratory system, it is synthesized in nasopharyngeal and pulmonary intercellular fibroblasts, tracheal and bronchial submucosal glands, and goblet cells of the lining epithelium, which release it into the mucus that lines and protects the airways. Consequently, hyaluronic acid plays a central role in the physiology of the respiratory process and is part of many homeostatic mechanisms. Hyaluronic acid administered through an inhaler quickly penetrates and becomes part of the intercellular spaces of the respiratory system, preventing the diffusion of macromolecules and regulating the migration of cell populations involved in inflammatory reactions. Its considerable hydrophilicity also allows the hydration of the entire respiratory tract, thus facilitating the elimination of catabolites and allergens. As a result of its ability to participate in the glycoprotein component that covers the mucosa of the upper respiratory tract, it participates in the regulation of the free space for mucociliary transport by interrupting potentially limiting allergic or inflammatory factors, either environmental or endogenous.

The use of YABRO® is indicated for restoring and maintaining the physiological state of the intercellular spaces and mucous membranes of the respiratory system, which has worsened in chronic inflammation of the bronchi, for example in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). ). It is also indicated in the concurrent supportive treatment of upper respiratory tract conditions such as angina, sore throat, pharyngitis, inflammation of the nasopharynx, inflammation of the sinuses, rhinitis, tracheitis, both in the acute and chronic phase, in the treatment of hoarseness, inflammation of the vocal cords, or with or without a voice disorder. It is also indicated for improving the recovery of mucosal function in the postoperative state following endonasal procedures.

Mode of use

Procedure for preparing an aerosol (sodium hyaluronate 0.3%, sodium chloride, water):

Open the disposable ampoule by breaking the neck according to the marked line.
Pour the contents of the ampoule into the atomizer container.
Convert the contents of an ampoule into an aerosol using the appropriate aerosol therapy device.
It is recommended to use a device equipped with a compressor, which is guaranteed to have sufficient power (guideline value is at least 0.40 ml per minute).
Do not use ultrasonic devices.
Depending on the type of device used, it takes 15 to 40 minutes to completely transform an ampoule into an aerosol.

Note: YABRO® is for single use. Do not reuse to avoid any risk of contamination. Store at temperatures between 0°C and 25°C. Do not freeze!
