Description:
Chamomile flowers (Chamomilla recutita) contain flavonoids, tannins, bitter glycosides, salicylates, coumarins, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.
It also contains large amounts of azulene, a volatile oil with a broad spectrum of active principles that act as anti-inflammatory and antipyretic agents, making chamomile useful in treating arthritis and other inflammatory conditions.
Externally, it is used in the form of an ointment in the case of skin and oral, nasal, pharyngeal, anal, genital mucosal diseases, in case of wounds, burns, eczema, irritated and congested skin, acne, dermatitis.
Chamomile flower extract is recommended for the sensitive skin of babies, as an ointment against diaper rash, as well as any skin irritations and peeling in newborns and children.
Sabio's chamomile ointment cream has outstanding antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and cicatrizing qualities, with a dermoprotective, soothing and regenerating effect.
