Description
Internal antiparasitic for puppies Drontal Puppy, 50 ml, Bayer Vet
Properties:
- the two anthelmintic substances in the composition of the suspension have a synergistic action;
- febantel exerts its action by affecting the parasite metabolism, thus producing the destruction of the worms;
- pyrantelembonate produces inhibition of neuromuscular functions and paralysis of worms.
Mode of administration:
It is administered in a dose of 1 ml/kg body weight.
The suspension will be mixed in the animal's food or administered directly, using the pump from the bottle.
By pressing the pump, 1 ml of suspension is administered.
No diet is necessary.
Shake the bottle before use.
Indications:
Drontal puppy is effective against nematodes in puppies:
Canine ascaridosis: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina.
Canine hookworm: Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum.
Canine trichurosis: Trichuris vulpis.
Composition:
1 ml of Drontal Puppy suspension contains Febantel 15.0 mg and Pyrantelembonate 14.4 mg.
Precautions:
To keep in a dry and cool place.
In the days following the treatment, it is recommended to destroy the faeces and disinfect the environment.
Children must be removed from the vicinity of the animal.
The medicine is administered on the prescription of the veterinarian.
The preparation is not effective against cestodes.
To combat them, the administration of Drontal Plus tablets is recommended.
If the infestation occurred during the intrauterine period or through the galactogen route, the treatment can be applied starting from the age of 14 days and will be repeated after 2 weeks.
Parasites are destroyed 2 - 3 days after treatment.
