Description
PROSTA- Check® is a rapid blood test to check for elevated PSA levels . The medical device allows the detection of prostate- specific antigen (PSA) at a concentration above 4 ng/ml. This value is one of the basic parameters in the diagnosis of prostate diseases.
Prostate-specific antigen is a protein secreted in semen by the prostate. Some of this protein is found in the blood. Determination of the level of prostate antigen in the blood is an important element of prostate prophylaxis, especially in men over 50 years of age. The test is useful in diagnosing diseases including benign hyperplasia, prostatitis or prostate cancer. It is also recommended for men with a family history of prostate problems. Early screening allows you to start treatment and increase your chances of recovery.
The specific immunodiagnostic test PROSTA-Check ® Prostate Diagnostics allows you to estimate the physiological state of the prostate, and a value higher than 4 ng/ml indicates a disturbance of its physiological state.
