Evening primrose oil is traditionally used to increase the body's defense capacity in both children and adults. Due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitussive, bronchodilator and nutritional components, evening primrose oil is a very useful supplement for the health of the respiratory system and can be an optimal support for immunity in both children, adults and the elderly.
Moreover, numerous studies, both laboratory and clinical, show that evening primrose oil, especially due to its thymoquinone content, has a remarkable antitumor effect in many cancer lines. Not by chance, a statement from the Koran says about the seeds of this plant that they contain a cure for any disease.
Thymoquinone is a very special substance, which, in addition to antioxidant effects, also has epigenetic remodeling effects, effects that are felt especially on tumor cells, which trigger apoptosis (programmed death), by restoring the functionality of the signaling chains involved in this process .
Usually, the so-called maintenance doses are about 3 ml of oil per day (3 teaspoons). In the case of serious diseases, such as cancer, the necessary dose of active substances (including thymoquinone) is obtained from about 25-30 ml of oil, in several doses, throughout the whole day.

- black seed oil extracted with hydrocarbons (usually hexane), with a stronger aroma and a lighter color. This type of extraction is the most efficient, with the lowest production costs, but the solvents used for extraction are usually more or less carcinogenic.

Use / administration
