Based on the stress test, AQUAINT complies with the evaluation of the antimicrobial protection of the cosmetic product. (Microorganisms used for the test: Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans and Aspergillus brasiliensis).
In 2014, AQUAINT was tested in Japan for use as a disinfectant against viruses.
