Phenylbutazone cream 40 mg/g, 50 g, Fiterman

Indications:
This medication belongs to the class of drugs known as topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Phenylbutazone Fiterman is used in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age to relieve pain caused by gout and other rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, synovitis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, arthrosis). It also soothes post-traumatic joint and muscle pain.
If after 8 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should consult a doctor.

Composition:
- The active substance is phenylbutazone. One gram of cream contains phenylbutazone 40 mg.
- The other ingredients are: white petrolatum, cetostearyl alcohol emulsifier type A, glycerol, polysorbate 80, camphor, levomenthol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, n-propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, purified water, 96% ethyl alcohol.

Method of administration:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age
Phenylbutazone Fiterman is for external use only. Wash your hands after each application of Phenylbutazone. Do not use bandages or occlusive dressings. Use Phenylbutazone Fiterman 2-3 times a day, applied in a thin layer, only on the skin surfaces corresponding to the inflamed muscles or joints.
Massage gently. Do not use Phenylbutazone Fiterman more often or for a longer period of time than recommended by your doctor.
Continuation of treatment beyond 4 weeks will only be done after the patient's condition has been reassessed.
Use in children and adolescents under 14 years of age

Contraindications:
Do not use Phenylbutazone Fiterman:
- if you are allergic to phenylbutazone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
- if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using phenylbutazone.
Take special care when using Phenylbutazone Fiterman if:
- you suffer from gastrointestinal diseases;
- you suffer from serious heart, kidney or liver diseases;
- you suffer from immune system disorders;
- you suffer from bronchial asthma or other allergies. In the event of a hypersensitivity reaction at the application site, treatment will be discontinued.
- you have high blood pressure;
- you have blood clotting disorders, thyroid dysfunction or a condition known as porphyria.
Phenylbutazone Fiterman is intended for external use only.
Children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 14 years of age.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
The use of Phenylbutazone Fiterman is not recommended in the first two trimesters of pregnancy and is contraindicated in the third trimester. Do not use Phenylbutazone Fiterman if you intend to breastfeed. Under no circumstances is application to the breasts recommended.

Driving and using machines:
Due to side effects such as blurred vision or dizziness, use Phenylbutazone Fiterman with caution if you operate machinery or drive vehicles.
