Ibufen 400 mg, 12 film-coated tablets, Antibiotice SA
Ibufen is useful in relieving headaches, toothaches, abdominal pains that occur during the menstrual cycle, muscle, joint and bone pains, pains from rheumatic diseases, as well as fevers.
Composition:
The active substance is ibuprofen (in the form of L-arginate). Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg Ibuprofen. The other components are: L-arginine, sodium bicarbonate, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, sugar, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide (E 171).
Therapeutic indications:
- The active substance contained in Ibufen is ibuprofen, which is part of the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that act by reducing pain, fever and inflammation.
- Ibufen is indicated for the relief of pain from various causes, such as headache, toothache, neuralgia, muscle and joint pain and dysmenorrhea.
- It is also indicated as an adjuvant in the symptomatic treatment of fever and flu.
- In dental pain, pain relief occurs within 25-30 minutes.
- If after 7 days you do not feel better or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor.
Doses and method of administration:
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 film-coated tablet two - three times a day.
CAREFUL:
- The maximum daily dose should not exceed 3 film-coated tablets per day, without the advice of a doctor (1200 mg per day).
- This product is not administered to children under 12 years of age.
- Ibufen is administered orally.
- Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
- This medicine should not be administered for more than 7 days or in higher doses, without a doctor's recommendation. If you have kidney, liver or heart disease, lower doses are recommended.
Contraindications:
Anti-inflammatory/pain medications such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially if used in large doses.
Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.
Special warnings:
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you might be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for recommendations before taking this medicine.
Driving vehicles and using machines
If you feel dizzy and have a headache after taking Ibufen, do not drive or use machines until you feel better again.
