Description
An advanced dressing for the management of dermatitis caused by friction between skin surfaces (intertrigo), it is made of a polyester fabric coated on both sides with a thin layer of polyurethane. InterDry releases silver ions with antibacterial and antifungal properties through a patented complex (Alphasan).
The polyester fiber fabric drains and allows moisture to evaporate between skin folds; the soft polyurethane layer prevents and manages chafing; the Alphasan complex releases silver ions continuously and controlledly for up to 5 days and provides an antimicrobial and antifungal effect against microorganisms commonly found in skin folds. The antimicrobial activity helps reduce the formation of unpleasant odors.
Indicated for the protection and treatment of skin damage at skinfolds and/or other contact areas, and for use on the skin between two touching skin areas, in the presence of obvious or potential inflammation and/or irritation due to sweating and friction. It can be kept in place during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations. InterDry is compatible with up to 3 tesla.

Conservation
