Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Regaine if you:

- If you experience any of these side effects, stop using this medicine immediately and contact your doctor.
- Some patients have experienced changes in hair color and texture when using this medicine.
- A noticeable hair loss (small patches of hairless scalp) may initially occur 2 to 6 weeks after treatment. This is a sign that the treatment is working and that new hair is replacing the old hair. This stops within a few weeks.
- If hair loss persists, stop using Regaine and contact your doctor.

- If foam is accidentally applied to body areas other than the scalp, rinse thoroughly with water to avoid ingrown hairs.
- Regaine should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Using shampoo during treatment:
- You can use a mild shampoo while using Regaine.

- Apply Regaine first, then apply styling products as usual.
- Do not mix with products applied to the scalp.
Tips on coloring your hair permanently:
- There is no information available on whether these procedures may alter the effect of Regaine treatment.
- However, to avoid scalp irritation, you should make sure you have washed your hair and scalp to remove Regaine before using these chemical products.
- You should also tell your hair care professional that you are using Regaine.
