Description
Dietary supplement containing 100 mg of coenzyme Q10 per capsule in the form of ubiquinone. Coenzyme Q10 can be recommended as a dietary supplement in cases of reduced intake and increased need. It can also be used in conjunction with medications and natural remedies that can cause a reduction in Q10 levels in the body, resulting in muscle disorders. These include cholesterol-lowering remedies that counteract the body's production of cholesterol by reducing the action of the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme also plays a role in the endogenous production of coenzyme Q10, which may therefore be less efficient, resulting in a reduction in the body's supply of coenzyme Q10.
