The active ingredient ibuprofen has been a proven pain reliever for many years. Neuralgin® extra combines the highly effective ibuprofen with the naturally occurring lysine salt. This allows the active ingredient to be released more quickly in the body, resulting in a rapid onset of action. The ibuprofen-lysine combination offers fast relief from many types of headaches – including bothersome tension headaches.

Application recommendation:

The film-coated tablets are particularly user-friendly: simply swallow them whole with sufficient liquid during or after a meal. The dosage depends on age and body weight – adults and adolescents aged 15 and over take 1/2 to 1 tablet as needed, with a maximum of 3 tablets daily. There should be at least 6 hours between doses. Thanks to its good tolerability, Neuralgin extra is also suitable for children aged 6 and over (observe the age-appropriate dosage – see package leaflet or back of pack).

If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Children & Young People

Lactose or gluten intolerance
