Instructions for preparation

How to prepare Nutrilon Good Night follow-on milk:

• Sterilize all used utensils and boil drinking water intended for infants. Let it cool in the kettle for about 30 minutes to about 40°C. Pour the appropriate amount of boiled water (see the table on the package) into the sterilized bottle.
• Always use the included measuring cup for dosing. Align the powder in it using a special plastic strip inside the package.
• Add the appropriate amount of powder to the bottle of water (see the table on the package). Immediately after closing the bottle, place it vertically between your palms and roll it between them for 5 seconds. Then shake the bottle for 20 seconds to prevent clumping.
• Before serving, check the temperature of the milk mixture by placing a drop on the inside of your wrist, turn the bottle upside down and serve immediately.

Storage

• Close the packaging carefully after each use.
• Keep in a dry and cool place (not in the refrigerator).
• Do not put a wet measuring cup inside.
• To be consumed within 1 month after opening.

Important note

Breastfeeding is the best way to feed babies. Food for feeding infants older than 6 months. Nutrilon 2 Advanced should only be part of a mixed and balanced diet of the child and should not be used as a substitute for breast milk in the first 6 months of life. The decision to start solid foods, including any exception to the 6-month age rule, should only be made on the basis of independent advice from people qualified in medicine, nutrition or pharmacy or other professionals responsible for the care of the mother and child, depending regarding the individual growth and developmental needs of a particular child. For the health of infants, it is important to strictly follow the preparation instructions and recommendations listed.

We support the WHO recommendation - full breastfeeding for the first 6 months and continuation up to 2 years and beyond, together with the introduction of safe and appropriate complementary foods.

Important tip: Use the prepared food within 2 hours. Always throw away unused food. Do not use boiled water repeatedly. Keep in a dry and cool place (not in the refrigerator). Do not heat food in the microwave to avoid scalding the child due to moderate heating. Avoid prolonged contact of milk formula with the teeth - it increases the risk of tooth decay. Take care of your child's teeth regularly, especially before bed. Ask your dentist for advice.
