Saridon, 10 tablets, Bayer

Saridon is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, for example headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain, back pain, minor arthritis pain.

Saridon is also used for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever associated with colds and flu.

Composition:

• The active substances are: paracetamol, propyphenazone, caffeine
• Each tablet contains paracetamol 250 mg, propyphenazone 150 mg and caffeine 50 mg.

How to use:

• Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
• For adults, the single daily dose is 1-2 tablets
• For adolescents aged 12-16 years, the single daily dose is 1 tablet
• If necessary, you can take the recommended dose up to 3 times a day
• Take the tablets with a sufficient amount of liquid. If you feel that the effect of this medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindications:

Do not take Saridon if you have hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients of this medicine.

Precautions:

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Saridon.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy

• There has been no report of an increased risk of malformations
• Paracetamol can be taken during pregnancy, but only under strict medical supervision
• During pregnancy, it is not recommended to take paracetamol for a prolonged period of time, in higher doses or in combination with other medicines, as its safe use in such conditions has not been confirmed

Breastfeeding

• Paracetamol passes into breast milk in small amounts. Even though, to date, no adverse reactions have been observed, paracetamol should only be used during breastfeeding on the advice of a doctor.

Driving and using machines

• Some patients may experience dizziness or drowsiness when taking paracetamol
• Caution is advised when performing activities that require alertness.
