Resource® Instant Protein is a powdered diet with a neutral taste and nutritionally incomplete.

The preparation is completely soluble in cold and hot dishes. It does not alter the taste, consistency and color of foods and drinks.

Food for special medical purposes Resource® Instant Protein is intended for the dietary management of malnourished patients or at risk of malnutrition, who may have an increased protein requirement, e.g. with burns, bedsores, cancer, wounds.

Ingredients:

Milk proteins, emulsifier: soy lecithin, anti-caking agent: calcium phosphates.

100 g of powder contains:

• Energy value 1575 kcal/371 kJ
• Fat 1 g, including saturated fatty acids <0.9 g; carbohydrates 0.50 g, of which sugars 0.50 g, lactose <0.50 g, protein 90 g, salt <0.1 g
• Sodium <40 mg, potassium <40 mg, calcium 1400 mg, phosphorus 740 mg.

How to use:

• The product can be added to cold and hot drinks and meals
• To prepare meals or drinks, first dissolve the powder in a small amount of warm liquid
• Any amount of product that has been heated and not consumed should be discarded
• Follow dietary recommendations or recommendations on daily intake
• The daily intake of protein concentrate powder should be in accordance with the doctor's recommendations
• For 150 ml of liquid or 150 g of food add 10-15 g of powder (2-3 tablespoons)
• The amount of the preparation should be adapted to the age, needs and condition of the patient.

Contraindications:

• Allergy to any of the ingredients of the preparation
• May contain soy protein
• Do not administer to children under 3 years of age
• Use under medical supervision
• The product is not suitable for use as a sole source of food
• The preparation is not intended for parenteral use
• Do not use in people who do not suffer from the diseases or health disorders mentioned above or who do not have medical indications for its use
• Before starting to use the preparation, read the information on the recommended intake and method of use provided on the package
• Store in a cool, dry place
• All prepared products must be hermetically sealed and consumed within 6 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator
• Once opened, use within 4 weeks.
