Coldrex Sinus Extra, 500 mg/3 mg/50 mg, 10 tablets, Perrigo

Coldrex Sinus Extra is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of the common cold and flu (to relieve sneezing, runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, fever, headaches and muscle aches).

Composition:

• The active substances are: paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
• Each Coldrex Sinus Extra tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 3 mg and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 50 mg.
• The other ingredients are: pregelatinized starch, povidone and stearic acid.

Method of administration:

• Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose for adults is 1-2 Coldrex Sinus Extra tablets 3 times a day (no more than 6 tablets/day and no more than 2 tablets/dose should be administered).
• In case of renal failure with creatinine clearance < 10 ml/min, the interval between 2 doses must be at least 8 hours.

Use in children between 12-15 years of age:

• 2-3 Coldrex Sinus Extra tablets per day (no more than 3 tablets per day and no more than 1 tablet per intake)
• The tablets should be swallowed whole, with sufficient liquid, preferably half an hour before a meal.
• The tablets should not be divided, crushed or chewed.
• Treatment should be short-term (maximum 5 days), according to data from the specialized literature.

Contraindications:

Do not use Coldrex Sinus Extra if you are hypersensitive to paracetamol, phenacetin or other anti-inflammatories (increased risk of allergic reactions) or to any of the components of the medicine.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• Coldrex Sinus Extra is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:

• Due to its side effects (e.g. drowsiness, dizziness, accommodation disorders, etc.), the product may affect your ability to drive or use machinery.
