Indications:
ACC 100 is a medicine recommended for liquefying mucus in the case of respiratory conditions accompanied by hyperviscous mucus (expectorant). Mucolytic therapy in case of acute and chronic diseases of bronchitis and lungs, with viscous mucous secretion.
Composition:
Active ingredient: 1 sachet with 3 g of powder contains 100 mg of acetylcysteine
Excipients: saccharin, sucrose, flavorings.
Administration method:
ACC 100 powder is administered after meals.
The powder is administered after dissolving in water, juice or cold tea.
The solution must be used shortly after dissolving the powder.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days without a doctor's recommendation. Recommendation for diabetics: 1 sachet with 3 g of powder contains 0.24 carbohydrates, in units.
Contraindications:
Do not use ACC Junior:
- if you are allergic to acetylcysteine or any of the other components of this medicine;
- if you have an active peptic ulcer;
- in children under 2 years of age.

Before using ACC Junior, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Task:
Not enough data are available regarding the use of acetylcysteine in pregnant women. Experimental animal studies do not suggest direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to pregnancy, embryonal/foetal development, parturition or postnatal development. Acetylcysteine should be used during pregnancy after strict benefit-risk assessment.
Breastfeeding:
No information is available regarding excretion in breast milk. Acetylcysteine should be used during breastfeeding only after strict benefit-risk assessment.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
Effects on the ability to drive or use machines are not known.
