Properties:
- the neem tree has been recognized for thousands of years as having health-supporting properties;
- neem remains green throughout the year and grows all over India;
- from Neem, all parts of the tree are used, but the most used are the raw or dried leaves both internally and externally;
Method of administration:
Because it is very bitter, it is consumed mixed in fruit juice or smoothie.
Recommended daily consumption: 1-2 g twice a day, for short periods of time.
Internally, it is not recommended for children under 6 years of age, pregnant women (risk of abortion), nursing mothers and diabetics, except with careful monitoring of blood sugar because it has slight effects of increasing blood sugar levels.
