Kudzu (Latin Pueraria lobata), also known as Kudzu, is a deciduous vine found in coastal areas, fields and roadsides. Kudzu is related to the pea and is native to the Pacific Islands and East Asia. It weaves around trees, bushes, lanterns and poles, reaching up to 12 meters high. The raw materials used in herbal medicine are pods and roots. In popular usage, the Chinese call them ge-gen. A positive effect on the fight against alcohol was observed. Kudzu reduces the desire to drink alcohol.
