Strepsils intensive sugar-free with orange flavor, 8.75 mg, 16 tablets, Reckitt Benckiser Healthcare

Indications:
Strepsils Intensive Orange without sugar contains flurbiprofen which belongs to a group of substances called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs help reduce inflammation, pain and fever.

Strepsils Intensiv Oranges without sugar help to soothe the pain and inflammation of the throat that accompany colds, laryngitis or tonsillitis.
The emollient effect is observed 2 minutes after administration.

Strepsils Intensiv Orange without sugar begins to work within 2 minutes of administration due to the demulcent effect (soothing of an irritated throat).
Reduction of pharyngeal pain was observed after 15 minutes.
Relief of pain and inflammation is expected to occur within 30 minutes of taking one pill and lasts up to 4 hours.

Contraindications:
Do not take Strepsils Intensive Orange without sugar:
- if you are allergic to flurbiprofen, to other NSAIDs or to any of the other components of the medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Strepsils Intensiv Orange without sugar, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this
drug.
During the first 5 months of pregnancy, NSAIDs can be used for as short a period as possible, on the doctor's recommendation, if absolutely necessary. The use of NSAIDs in the last 4 months of pregnancy can cause premature closure of the ductus arteriosus in the fetus and a persistent increase in pulmonary pressure in the newborn. Therefore, taking Strepsils Intensive Orange without sugar during the last 4 months of pregnancy is contraindicated.
Flurbiprofen is excreted in breast milk in very low concentration; as a precautionary measure, it is recommended to avoid administration during breastfeeding.
There is some evidence that drugs that inhibit cyclooxygenase/prostaglandin synthesis may affect female fertility through an effect on ovulation. It is reversible upon discontinuation of treatment.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Sometimes dizziness or visual disturbances may occur after taking Strepsils Intensiv Oranges without sugar; in this situation it is not recommended to drive vehicles or use machines.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Adults and children over 12 years of age:
The recommended dose is one Strepsils Intensiv Orange sugar-free pill (8.75 mg flurbiprofen) every 3-6 hours (the pills are kept in the oral cavity until dissolved; do not chew or swallow whole); depending on the severity of the symptoms, the maximum dose is 5 Strepsils Intensiv pills
Oranges without sugar (43.75 mg flurbiprofen) in 24 hours.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days.

Children under the age of 12:
Strepsils Intensive Orange without sugar is not indicated for children under 12 years of age.

Seniors:
No dose adjustment is necessary in this age group.
Similar to other pills, in order to avoid the occurrence of local irritations, the position will be permanently changed

Strepsils Intensiv Oranges without sugar in the oral cavity. If irritation occurs, the treatment must be stopped.
