Active ingredients:

• The drug Wobenzym® contains a complex of active enzymes and rutins

Composition:

One gastro-resistant tablet contains: Pancreatin 300 Protease Ph. Eur.-u., Papain 90 F.I.P.-u., Bromelain 225 F.I.P.-u., Lipase 34 F.I.P.-u., Amylase 50 F.I.P.-u., Trypsin 360 F.I.P.-u., Chymotrypsin 300 F.I.P.-u., Rutin trihydrate 50 mg.

• Total proteolytic activity: 570 F.I.P.-u
• Total amylolytic activity: 4030 F.I.P.-u
• Total lipolytic activity: 4525 F.I.P.-u.

F.I.P. unit is a measure of enzymatic activity according to the International Pharmaceutical Federation. It expresses the amount of substrate that the respective enzymes are able to process per unit of time.

• Excipients: Core: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, magnesium stearate, stearic acid 95%, colloidal anhydrous silica, talc
• Coating: talc, MA/MMA copolymer 1:1, sodium lauryl sulfate, triethyl citrate, hypromellose, hyprolose, microcrystalline cellulose, glycerol 85%, Ponceau 4R (E124), sunset yellow (E110), titanium dioxide, macrogol 6000.

How to use: 

• At the beginning of treatment, 3x 5 to 3x 10 tablets per day
• As the disease subsides, the dosage is gradually reduced to a dose of 3x 3 tablets per day
• For maximum enzyme activity, we recommend taking at least 30 minutes before meals or at least 90 minutes after meals
• The tablets are washed down with a large amount of water (approximately 250 ml)
• Enteric-coated tablets should not be chewed, divided or crushed, as the coating protects the tablet from degradation in the digestive tract.

Warnings:

• Wobenzym® should not be used in situations associated with an increased tendency to bleed or increased fibrinolysis (dissolution of blood clots)
• The drug must not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or excipients or in cases of hypersensitivity to fruits such as pineapple or papaya
• Wobenzym® is a registered drug in the field of systemic enzyme therapy
• Wobenzym® is a drug intended for internal use
